Program Coordinator (PATH)
Positive Action Toward Health - Tobacco Prevention Program, Irvine. P/T, Mon. - Fri. (33 hours/week)**
Responsibilities Include:
- Work in collaboration with the Program Supervisor and Program Director to oversee the coordination, facilitation, and direction concerning the Tobacco Prevention Program.
- Coordinates all activities with paid interns, community partners, local residents, contracted evaluators, and city officials.
- Manage project plans, implementation, data collection, and quarterly reporting.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science or related field. Master’s Degree in Public Health or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of health promotion theories and prevention strategies.
- 1 year of related experience in developing and implementing public health campaigns, including research, and material development.
- 1 year of related experience in collaborating with community partners and community outreach.
- Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population and the needs of special populations.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese preferred.
Pay range: $27.35 - $29.01 hourly
