SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR
Corporate Administration - Irvine, CA - P/T /20hrs a week.
Responsibilities Include:
- The Special Events Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the success of our agency’s fundraising events.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Assistant.
- Assist with planning and execution, from concept to completion.
- Manage event logistics, securing sponsorships, and sourcing in-kind donations.
- Build relationships with vendors and coordinating on-site venue arrangements.
- Lead event set-up and tear-down, ensuring every detail shines.
- Partner with staff to deliver seamless, impactful events that exceed expectations.
- Enhance agency profile, event promotion and engagement through creative social media campaigns and contributions
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or public relations preferred.
- One year of experience in sales and/or event planning.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and workload management.
- Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, database programs, Canva and social media platforms.
- Must have the skills to solicit sponsorships and in-kind donations.
Starting pay range: $23.00 per hour
