Restitution Team Specialist
Victim Assistance Programs, F/T, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Works in the Superior Court Victim/Witness Office to determine and distribute court ordered restitution payments for crime victims from their offenders.
- Helps with training restitution team and collaborative partners alongside Restitution Manager.
- Helps with coverage in Victim Witness Offices on an as needed basis.
- Works on special projects with Manager and Program Director.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, College Degree preferred.
- Requires basic knowledge of criminal justice system and good customer service skills.
- Two years of related experience working with people in a human services setting or customer service setting. - One year of work experience in a Victim Witness Office setting performing Restitution Specialist duties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population and to be sensitive to the needs of special populations.
- Valid California driver license, reliable vehicle, and legally mandated automobile liability insurance.

Starting pay: $19.68 - $20.64 per hour
