Restitution Coordinator
Victim Assistance Programs. OC Court Centers/Irvine, CA. F/T, Monday – Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with the Victim Witness Manager and Program Director to provide training for Victim Witness staff and partner agencies.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to restitution and works closely with Victim Witness Offices, Superior Court, and Waymakers Accounting.
- Provide mentorship, training, and onboarding support for new restitution staff, and assists with case staffing.
- Offer restitution support to Victim Witness Offices on an as-needed basis.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Requires basic knowledge of the criminal justice system and good customer service skills.
- Up to two years of related experience working with people in a human services setting or customer service setting.
- Knowledge of Restitution and working in a Victim Witness Office preferred.
- Ability to travel to other court centers to provide support and coverage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population and to be sensitive to the needs of special populations.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Starting pay range: $27.12 - $28.48 hourly
