Associate Clinician (YOW)
Location: Irvine, California, United States
ASSOCIATE CLINICIAN (YOW)
Youthful Offender Wraparound – Irvine. F/T - Monday-Friday, 9am - 6pm. On-Call 24/7 for crisis support. Hybrid position.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide individual, family, psycho-educational and group counseling.
- Conduct initial intakes, develop clinical assessments with diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Assist clients, caretakers, and FSP team in goal achievement and implementation of behavior modification plans.
- Provide parent education, intervening therapeutically when a consumer is experiencing behavioral/emotional difficulties, crisis intervention, and safety planning and coordination of care with FSP team.
- LPS designation for hospitalization.
- Regular and timely documentation of services provided to children, transitional age youth 12-25, and their families with mental illness, and are involved in the juvenile justice system.
- Provide services within juvenile justice institutions, in-home, and community-based locations.
Requirements include:
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
- Current associate number with BBS on the LMFT/LCSW/LPCC track.
- 2 years related experience or postgraduate, clinically supervised hours.
- Counseling experience with children, adolescents, and families.
- Knowledge of theory and techniques of individual, family, and group dynamics, behavioral interventions, substance abuse, crisis intervention, and cognitive-behavioral approaches.
- Demonstrate ability to work with a diverse multicultural/ethnic population with sensitivity and respect.
- Must obtain and maintain LPS designation for 5585/5150 assessments.
- Must be available for on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies.
- Ability to work hybrid schedule as needed.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Starting pay range: $6,234.00 - 6,530.00 monthly
