House Supervisor (TAY/CRP)
CRP – Tustin. F/T, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Hours varied for shift coverage. (Willingness to work weekends, evenings, graveyards and overtime as required to keep the program fully staffed on a 24 hour basis).
Responsibilities Include:
- Train, schedule, supervise and evaluate the team of Mental Health Specialists and Quality Assurance.
- Day to day operations, including scheduling house maintenance, training staff, and assigning shift duties.
- Assist clients in acquiring healthy social skills and independent living skills to reduce recidivism and/or psychiatric hospitalization and promote success, safety, and permanence in the home, school, workforce and community and establish positive working relationships with court, police, probation, schools, county, and provides community education and outreach.
- Maintain status as a Group Home Administrator and renew every 2 years.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a Human Services related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with adolescents/young adults.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet client needs and organizational deadlines.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse multicultural/ethnic population with sensitivity and respect. - Must be 21 years of age. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Current first aid and CPR certificate, health screen and negative TB test result.
- Livescan fingerprinting and criminal records clearance and compliance with Community Care Licensing Title 22 Group Home regulations.
- Certified Administrator status through the Department of Social Services, which includes a 40-hour training course and completion of written exam by Department of Social Services is preferred but we will provide.
- Certification must be renewed every two years.
- Valid California driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, graveyards and overtime as required to keep the program fully staffed on a 24-hour basis.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Starting pay range: $6,010 - $6,296 monthly
