Facility Coordinator
Youthful Offender Wraparound – Fountain Valley. F/T, Mon. - Fri. (8hrs) or Mon. - Thurs. (10 hrs.) On-site position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assists in maintaining daily operations of the site, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, roofing, heating and air conditioning, janitorial, pest control, and fire safety.
- Maintain the inventory of supplies needed for consumers such as hygiene kits, clothing, pantry items, grocery cards, and food cards.
- Assists with planning events for consumers, setting up for groups, ordering office supplies and couriering documents.
- Supports with community outreach to obtain donations or identify mutually beneficial partnerships for the Guidance Center.
- Checks in with clients as needed at the Guidance Center utilizes a “whatever-it-takes” approach to encourage a consumer to actively participate in activities.
Requirements Include:
- High school diploma. College coursework in psychology, education, sociology, criminology or related human-services field or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer applications (MS Word and MS Excel) and standard office procedures.
- Effective interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to work with a multicultural and diverse population.
- Experience working with transitional age youth and/or mental health issues preferred.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- This position is on-site.
- Valid California driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements and a clean driving record.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Starting pay range: $25.75 - $27.04 per hour
