Supervisor (Lamoreaux Justice Center)

Location: Orange, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the program center at Juvenile Court

  • Supervise staff and volunteers providing services to crime victims, witnesses, and children

  • Respond to victims of crime and their families to mitigate the impact of the victimization and/or case investigation and court appearance

Qualification and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral science, criminal justice, or related field.

  • Thorough knowledge of the criminal justice system and victimology

  • Up to 3 years of experience in a position involving the provision of victim services, peer counseling, equivalent social skills, and program administration

  • Excellent supervisory, interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population and to be sensitive to the needs of special populations

  • Valid California driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a satisfactory driving record and possession of a reliable automobile

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
