Employee Engagement Manager

VAP/CORP – Santa Ana.  F/T, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement employee activities to enhance agency culture, employee engagement and retention efforts.

  • Provide leadership for employee committees with the goal of connecting staff and programs across the agency to streamline communication, collaboration and cross training.

  • Provide leadership for implementation of established DEI priorities.

  • Develop and Implement programs and events for staff that encompass self-care and recognition of employee achievements.

  • Work with agency leadership and individual programs to assure success of employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements Include:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or experience in communications, public relations, or human relations.

  • One year of experience working in a non-profit or HR setting and experience leading teams is preferred.

  • Must have strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard office procedures.

  • Must have strong skills in social media content creation, editing, and posting.

  • Excellent organization, detail orientation, analytical, multi-tasking, and verbal/written/ interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to make connections and build trust with agency leadership and staff throughout the agency.

  • Effective public speaking and presentation abilities preferred.

  • Valid California driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a reliable automobile.
