Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and implement employee activities to enhance agency culture, employee engagement and retention efforts.
- Provide leadership for employee committees with the goal of connecting staff and programs across the agency to streamline communication, collaboration and cross training.
- Provide leadership for implementation of established DEI priorities.
- Develop and Implement programs and events for staff that encompass self-care and recognition of employee achievements.
- Work with agency leadership and individual programs to assure success of employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements Include:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or experience in communications, public relations, or human relations.
- One year of experience working in a non-profit or HR setting and experience leading teams is preferred.
- Must have strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard office procedures.
- Must have strong skills in social media content creation, editing, and posting.
- Excellent organization, detail orientation, analytical, multi-tasking, and verbal/written/ interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to make connections and build trust with agency leadership and staff throughout the agency.
- Effective public speaking and presentation abilities preferred.
- Valid California driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a reliable automobile.
