Quality Assurance/Intake Coordinator (Families First)

Families First - Santa Ana.  F/T, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 6 pm.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide administrative support for Medi-Cal eligible clients in an outpatient behavioral health clinic.

  • Conducts a technical review of billing daily.

  • Prepares and reconciles monthly funding reports.

  • Provides daily data entry into Electronic Health Record Systems (EXYM & IRIS.)

  • Analyzes data for statistical reports.

  • Coordinates referrals and scheduling of intakes and send Notice of Benefits to consumers.

  • Maintain a client master client list.

  • Relief for reception including answering phones, greeting visitors, ordering supplies and providing administrative support to the Program Director as needed.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and one year related experience in a professional office environment.

  • Experience with medical billing, working knowledge of computer applications (Word and Excel) and standard office procedures.

  • Effective interpersonal and organizational abilities for fast paced environment.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be detail-oriented.

  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Ability to establish rapport, good written and communication skills and demonstrates the ability to work with a diverse multicultural/ethnic population with sensitivity and respect.

  • Valid California driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a reliable automobile.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
