Supervisor (Victim Assistance Program - Human Trafficking)

SUPERVISOR (VAP – Human Trafficking)

VAP – Santa Ana, F/T, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. * Rotate on call

(This position will participate in a hybrid work environment where employees are able to work both from home and our office in Santa Ana.)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for the provision of assistance to victims of human trafficking to mitigate the impact of victimization.

  • Will be on rotation to respond to client emergencies, calls from law enforcement, and through the National Human Trafficking Hotline.


Requirements Include:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related discipline. Licensed as MFT or LCSW preferred but not required.

  • Excellent supervisory, interpersonal, organizational and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population and to be sensitive to the needs of special populations.

  • Ability to establish rapport, make accurate assessment of client needs and strengths, and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse multicultural/ethnic population with sensitivity and respect.

  • Knowledge of theory and experience with techniques of individual, family, and group dynamics, behavioral interventions, crisis intervention, trauma-focused and cognitive behavioral approaches preferred.

  • Knowledge/experience working with victims of human trafficking and/or knowledgeable

  • Valid California driver's license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a satisfactory driving record.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
