Instructional Designer (Victim Assistance - Training Program)

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER (Victim Assistance - Training Program)

Santa Ana. F/T. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop curriculum and training materials for statewide trainings, including in-person and asynchronous offerings.

  • Develop and recruit new and existing trainers for statewide trainings.

  • Identify and work with subject matter experts throughout the state to maintain current curriculums.

  • Demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population and to be sensitive to the needs of special populations.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in human services, criminal justice, program administration or related field.

  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system, victimology and/or child abuse.

  • Experience in curriculum development, instructional design or training content development.

  • Experience in program planning, training implementation and evaluation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.

  • Valid California driver’s license, reliable automobile, and liability insurance.

  • Some travel required.
