PROJECT COORDINATOR (Victim Assistance - Training Program)

Santa Ana. F/T. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (Must be available for statewide travel approximately 20% of the year).

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate project implementation for a statewide training grant to ensure all projects and deadlines meet funding guidelines.

  • Lead role in the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of grant-related activities, including online trainings, roundtable events, regional meetings and asynchronous learning opportunities.

  • Provide coordination for trainings, community events, educational workshops, and/or administrative functions.

  • Coordinate program planning, curriculum development, training implementation, and evaluation.

  • Demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population and be sensitive to the needs of special populations.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in human services, criminal justice, program administration or related field.

  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, curriculum development and/or instructional design.

  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system, victimology, and/or victim service provision desirable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.

  • Valid California driver’s license, reliable automobile, and liability insurance.

  • Must be available for statewide travel approximately 20% of the year.
