Supervisor (Victim Assistance - Training Program)

Santa Ana. F/T. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Day-to-day operation of statewide victim advocate training projects, including the hiring, supervising and training of staff who are coordinating the training projects.

  • Oversee coordination on statewide training, compilation and submission of statistical reports.

  • Facilitate program outreach.

  • Collaborate with victim service providers throughout the state of California.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in human services, criminal justice, program administration or related field.

  • Basic knowledge of adult learning theory, curriculum development and/or instructional design.

  • Experience in program planning, curriculum development, training implementation and evaluation.

  • General knowledge of crime victimization and victim service provision desirable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the culutural/ethnic diversity of the service population and to be sensitive to the needs of special populations.

  • Must be available for statewide travel approximately 20% of the year.

  • Valid California driver's license, reliable mode of transportation, and legally mandated automobile liability insurance.
