Crisis Response Team Coordinator (Victim Assistance Programs)

Location: Santa Ana, CA


Santa Ana. F/T. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (Rotating on-call coverage as part of a 24-hour team)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Facilitate response to victims of crimes within Orange County as called upon by law enforcement.

  • Provide immediate support, assistance and resources to mitigate the impact of the crime.

  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other county and community partners to improve local crisis response.

  • Participate as part of the 24-hour on-call team.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, criminal justice, or related field.

  • Basic knowledge of sexual assault, the criminal justice system, and victimology.

  • At least two years of related experience including administrative skills, working with people in a position involving the provision of victim services, peer counseling, and equivalent social skills.

  • Valid California driver’s license, reliable automobile, and liability insurance.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
