Behavioral Health Supervisor (Families First)

Location: Santa Ana, US - California


Santa Ana. F/T. Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm. Rotation for occasional on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies and 24/7 crisis support.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide administrative oversight to four Bachelor's level Mental Health Workers.

  • Review mental health rehabilitation, group psycho-education and case management documentation.

  • Provide therapy and documentation to a caseload of 10 youth and their families.

Requirements Include:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.

  • Possession of a current License with BBS on the MFT/LCSW track.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family and child counseling.

  • Knowledge of theory and techniques of individual, family, and group dynamics, behavioral interventions, substance abuse, crisis intervention, and cognitive-behavioral approaches.

  • Establish rapport, make an accurate assessment of the family’s needs, assist the family in accessing and utilizing the resource.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse multicultural/ethnic population with sensitivity and respect.

  • Valid California driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a reliable automobile.

  • Rotation for occasional on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies and 24/7 crisis support.
