Program Coordinator (Project PATH)

Location: Santa Ana, California, United States

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Program Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with the Program Director to oversee the coordination, facilitation, and direction of all procedures concerning an initiative to promote smoke-free strategies within community college districts in Orange County

  • Plan and facilitate project activities, including coalition building, education, training, strategic planning, implementation, evaluating and monitoring the progress of the project

  • Coordinate with key community partners, and serve as a project specific public health resource

  • Manage data collection and regular reporting


Program Coordinator requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in health science or related field

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health or related field preferred

  • Knowledge in health promotion theories and prevention strategies

  • 2 years of relevant experience with planning, implementing, and evaluating a public health initiative, including working collaboratively with community partners

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of collaborative partners, while using strong project management skills

  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural and ethnic diversity of the service population and to be sensitive to the needs of special populations

  • Valid California driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and a satisfactory driving record
