Crisis Response Team Coordinator (Victim Assistance Programs)

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

CRT Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate response to victims of crimes within Orange County as called upon by law enforcement to provide immediate support, assistance, and resources to mitigate the impact of the crime

  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other County and community partners to improve local crisis response

  • Participate as part of the 24-hour on-call team

CRT Coordinator requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral science, criminal justice, or related field

  • Basic knowledge of sexual assault, the criminal justice system, and victimology

  • 2 years of related experience including administrative skills, working with people in a position involving the provision of victim services, peer counseling, and equivalent social skills

  • Valid California driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and a satisfactory driving record

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
