Training Coordinator

Location: Santa Ana, CA, United States

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Training Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and facilitate local trainings, including the Victims’ Rights Conference, Crisis Response Conference, local victim advocate trainings, and advocate professional development workshops

  • Work in conjunction with the Training Program, collaborative partners, and subject matter experts in order to ensure that development and implementation of training is accomplished in a timely manner

  • Take lead in local training committees and be responsible for training development, training implementation, event planning and logistics, and statistics collection

Training requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral science, criminal justice, or related field

  • Basic knowledge of the criminal justice system and victimology

  • Experience providing coordination for community events, formal trainings or conferences, training facilitation on related topics, and administrative functions

  • Must be available for occasional statewide travel to trainings

  • Valid California driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and a satisfactory driving record
