Project Coordinator (GRIP)

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, evenings and weekends based on community event and/or client needs

Project Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Review assessments for youth at risk of gang activity and juvenile delinquency

  • Provide administrative direction to the Case Managers and facilitate case management meetings

  • Assist Program Director with oversight of service delivery systems, check disbursement, maintenance of client database and coordinate services within the GRIP collaboration

  • Track and report outcome measures and statistical reports

  • Maintain a 50% caseload to assess for risk and protective factors of behaviors that indicate an interest in, or involvement with, gang activity and juvenile delinquency for each referred youth and their family

  • Create an action plan for every participant, in a prevention and/or intervention component of GRIP which includes: Self-Esteem and Gang Awareness Curriculum, weekly case management services, Student Intervention Sessions (Meet-Ups), and Strike Team Meetings

  • Provide information and referral assistance, administer surveys, collect data, and coordinate services with other GRIP team members in the collaborative


Project Coordinator requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice, human services, child-adolescent development, or related field

  • Master’s Degree preferred

  • 2 – 4 years of related experience with child-adolescents or the juvenile justice system

  • 2 – 4 years of administrative experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications or similar data collection systems

  • Ability to create, analyze, and interpret charts, graphs, and other statistical data representation of program outcomes

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Effective organizational abilities

  • Valid California driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and a satisfactory driving record

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
