Program Supervisor (Project PATH)

Location: Santa Ana, California, United States

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Program Supervisor responsibilities include:

  • Work in collaboration with the Program Director to supervise the health education staff workloads, and related internal procedures for the alcohol, tobacco, and other prevention programs

  • Supervise and support the coordination, facilitation and direction of all procedures concerning alcohol and other drug prevention activities, including community mobilization, coalition building, education, training, strategic and project planning, implementation, data collection, evaluation, monitoring and monthly reporting of community-based projects

  • Play an active role in grant writing for the PATH programs

Program Supervisor requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science or related field

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health or related field preferred

  • Knowledge of health promotion theories and prevention strategies

  • 3-5 years of related experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating primary prevention programs, including providing health education, training and technical assistance

  • 3-5 years of related experience in collaborating with community partners, and community outreach

  • Ability to communicate effectively with collaborative partners and utilize strong project management skills

  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population and the needs of special populations

  • Valid California driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and a satisfactory driving record
